Requesting fashion advice!
Hi readers, I am reaching out for some fashion advice si vous plait!
When my last birthday rolled around I decided that I will wholeheartedly try to dress better. I've never been good with putting outfits together- I picture Tim Gunn giving me his trademark crossed arm look of concern. I pretty much go with whats comfortable. I can barely pick out which shoes to wear let alone attempt accessorizing. (OMG SO MANY CHOICES) Adding jewelry makes me feel like its too much. Anyways, I will be attending my friends' wedding soon and need some help getting my outfit together. Fashionistas, feel free topoint and laugh let me know if the shoes/accessory goes with the outfit or if you have any suggestions!

I chose these because:
1. The wedding will be at a tropical climate- so need to stay away from winter wear.
2. I will be helping with photographing so will need something fairly comfy to move in.
3. Unless I can get my legs all nice, smooth and tanned in time- tights are a must for now. (The back of my dress flew up once while I was photographing an outdoor summer wedding. Lesson learned.)

Yes, I realize this dress is a silk bag but its very comfortable. Would a big blingy bib necklace work for this outfit?
Must remember not to bend over much while photographing.

annie, those outfits are all very cute. i have those same exact gold/bronze steve madden pumps! and as for which one i would pick is outfit #2. the first one is def not tropical weather but the flowiness of it would look beautiful in the wind. i am also trying to think of what to wear for a tropical wedding too! and definitely flats since you will be running around. but those maryjanes do look comfy so i think either or will be good.

i agree no tights! its tropical weather. so start putting on self tanning lotion to achieve the color you want by next month :D

don't hate me, but i can't decide! i actually like #3 with the shrug but no tights..... maybe sheer panty hose if you're afraid of the color of your legs. i like #1 too b/c as the (side) photographer, i think a muted color with a splash of color is better suited.... that way you don't catch the crowds attention when you are running around and able to get more candid shots. #2 is my last pick...i like it but not my cup of tea....hehehe

I like the 2nd one! Try Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer, I use it when I'm in need of a little color and it works. Hope you guys are doing well! =)
I like the second outfit too. The first one doesn't have much shape though the fabric is lovely. No tights, and yes to flats! Wear short shorts underneath or boyshorts if the wind is your enemy.

I vote for #2 as well although i really love the first dress.. and i say.. if you're going to be standing all day taking photos.. flats are definitely fine.

I might stand alone, but I really like #1. It's simple and chic - it looks like it'll be easy to move around and dressy enough for a wedding. You could even wear flats with it to make it more comfortable. I love tights so I'm not voting against them! I wear tights even when it's bright and sunny out here. =)Well I guess it's more because I need to hide my chubby legs, you on the other hand - have nice legs so maybe you shouldn't hide them!
I have always thought of you as fashionable so never say otherwise!

Your pictures are beautiful and your outfits are so cute! If you haven't chosen yet, I would wear either #2 or #3. If you are going to a wedding, I might replace the cardigan on #2 with something with a plainer border (or possibly a cream cardigan), or take out the tights from #3. Both accessories are pretty cute and individualistic for everyday wear, but for a wedding you might not want to be so busy. Whatever you choose though, I am sure you will look lovely!
wardrobe malfunctions = INCREASED BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. If only I had thought to wear a skirt shooting Tina's wedding :(

BTW, your work is amazing! there's only so much you can do with a great camera, and your artistic eye clearly shines through that. I hope eventually you can chase the dream!
